BLHS offers a variety of services including companion care held within one’s residence to assist participants whom may need extra help around the house. BLHS provides the necessary assistance needed at home to maintain a safe and independent lifestyle. BLHS companions are available as scheduled, with time constraints based on insurance provider limitations. BLHS works diligently to ensure you or your loved one receive the attention and care they need to promote better living practices.
Services Offered
• Performing light housekeeping (based on approval by agency)
• Errands (prescription pick-up, dry cleaning, etc.)
• Sort, Organize and Read mail
• Grocery shopping / Meal planning/ Preparing meals and Feeding
• Entertainment (games, crafts, reading, etc.)
• Home safety evaluation
Maxim Companion Services focuses on two primary goals:
• Assistance with a safe bathing environment
• Assistance with dressing and clothing suggestions
• Shopping Needs
• Escorting to appointments and social events
• Stand-by assistance with walking and transfers
• Creating Reminders (medications, dates, routines, etc.)
